Unihertz Atom is a smartphone that has been attracting attention on the Internet. With a minimalist design, it features the resources and conveniences of "traditional" smartphones, such as Android O, fingerprint reader and water resistance. The phone also has mid-range specifications, with an octa-core processor and a camera of 16 megapixels.
In a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, the Atom can be found for $219 (about R$ 835, in direct conversion) and is available for import to Brazil, with shipping costing R$ 76.
The smartphone has average specifications, such as an octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage – without a memory card slot. The rear camera is 16 megapixels and the front camera is 8 megapixels.
The small size, however, comes with some sacrifices: in addition to the 2.45-inch screen, the smartphone has a low resolution, of 432 x 240 pixels. Another component that is limited is the battery, which is only 2,000 mAh.
